I think the spreading of carries helps each of our backs (and RL) be more fresh at this point in the season. Our individual RBs have not taken nearly the same number of body blows as RBs at other programs.
The Bengals defense has really taken steps backwards ever since Al left. Hopefully them being cheap and what he makes at ND being elevated keeps him in South Bend.
