Also, there’s no need to do the playoff rankings all second half of the season, and I’ve been saying this since the beginning. CBB doesn’t have a March Madness ranking show all February. It’s drummed up for talking heads, hot takes, and, most importantly, AD REVENUE.

Devil's advocate here: Let's scrap March Madness then too. Only 16 teams deserve to be there. If we are going to have a playoff this large, we need to include the G5 teams whether we all like it or not.

I just think, much like the whole Miami/ND thing, even though we are all ND fans, what’s the point then, right? I mean, I know there’s a fuck ton of nuance with comparing Miami and ND, but I just have a real hard time swallowing the pill that a bunch of humans can say, hey you EARNED this...

I’ll say this, I know college football has always had a bunch of subjectivity. Bowl games, polls, etc. With that said, I think that if they’re going to have a playoff, which is here and will continue, then something like what you say is wrong IMO. See my other post about how no other “league”...
