I didnt say he IS the best QB on the roster. Once RL leaves, you COULD MAKE AN ARGUMENT that he is the best based on the fact that he is more mobile than Angeli and Carr and Minchey have never played meaningful snaps. Anyways... the purpose of my post was to ask if he will be back next year?

I actually kind of like the line of thinking and agree with it. GM and Coach need to be in lockstep. Amateur hour is over. Get the best coach you can and make sure the GM is able to empower them.

Agree 100%. If he spurned ND once, there could have been a road back. But not now. Its not just the coaching staff that would need to accept him. I'm pretty sure the other members of his recruiting class probably want nothing to do with him anymore either.
