Well it’s not our last option! Gotta find some positives somewhere

ND's Talking Heads ... The good, bad & ugly

I’d love a summer home in upstate New York. Went to Letchworth state park during the summer several years back and it was absolutely gorgeous. Not hot either, that place is a gem! Bama can, and does get miserably hot. Fortunately it’s been mild the several summers. That and the constant threat...

On the flip side you don’t necessarily have to worry about a Nader dropping from the sky every time it rains!

I think it’s more of waiting for him to decline, or waiting for a report that ND is expected to hire. Someone posted this Twitter link earlier, https://twitter.com/FootballScoop?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1628757791987978240%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=

Who breaks the story first? Football scoop seems to be the only legit inside info at this point. Maybe Flight Tracker? Heather Dinich?

Wasn’t being harsh, just stating possible reasoning for their give a dam! Retirement is retirement, regardless of age, or that’s the way I see it. Granted it is different in football or so it seems. I’d be irritated if one my favorites left only to return elsewhere. It’s a feeling of confusion...

Because he retired from football and apparently wasn’t expected to return? They probably didn’t want to hear it that he was retiring and now he’s interviewing to coach again. Jeff Quinn? More like HH retiring and then announces he’s going to coach at LSU. It would just ruffle some peoples feathers.

The fact that he is entertaining the idea of returning to coaching I think says a lot about the situation, and he’s already been on campus. The fact that he’s considering a return because it’s ND (if true) says that ND still has that allure. Now do we know if he’s the first to be interviewed...

So what’s the consensus on the big want at OL coach? Wikipedia reports Rudolph at $725k/annualy at VT. If that’s accurate is that a number ND would even consider after the latest charades? Seems like he’d be a good one either way.

Are you combining the QB coach and OC in the same breath? I’m getting confused with all the new names, 😉

So maybe not legitimately forced but rather left with no other option. He either has a plan, or he doesn’t know what else to do. Or, he’s been assured that we will be better by GP. Fuck, Or, Hartman said he’d stay and he’s ok with GP. Too many possibilities really.

MF has to have justified this somehow, that or he was forced.

So why, if the number one requirement is play calling experience did we end up (quickly) with GP? Something is off! Maybe that wasn’t the first priority. Ultimately Freeman knows his career is on the line. So why go with the comfort hire instead of continuing to search? I think Freeman is smart...
