My teenage son is interested in cards now (basketball only). He’s interested in finding cards, possibly getting them graded, and trying to flip to make money. I know nothing about this world. Is that even possible? Anyone willing to share some basic tips?

They may be allowed to do this for practice, I'd be surprised if that would fly in games. That said, I noticed several of the girls bball players last year wore Nike shoes. Then, the ND social media team would remove the logos in their social media.

I don't see how it can be a battle that goes all the way to game week. Whomever the starter is needs as much time taking number 1 reps as he can get. My guess is the starter will be chosen within the first 8-10 days and that's how they'll proceed to the first game at least. Now, I doubt that...

Loved this movie growing up, being in martial arts. Was so sad Brandon Lee was killed in that, dude was gonna be a star.

Not to mention, staying in shape himself, having like 12 kids and a wife to take care of, plus coaching, plus boosters and admin meetings. Dude earns every penny of that $10M.

I think most schools do these days. They are willing to pay upfront immediately (if the state allows), but they either have to pay it back or have a buyout clause if they flip.

@Merckxe525 I'm curious, with fall camp set to start next week and with the summer session wrapping up, what if anything you're willing/able to share on individual players who may have taken a leap forward? There's a few rumblings about individuals, but wondering if you'd be willing to share...
