As others have said, the only way ND could be left out is if they don’t drop Bama a spot but drop BYU behind Miami. Both losses were similar so it would defy logic to drop one and not drop the other.

Bama losing by 21 is just a tough call exactly what the CFP committee would do. This isn’t a normal 21 point gap right now. It’s Bama being totally dominated. 100 yards of offense

Even if Bama gets this thing closer, the talking points post game won’t be the ND-Miami H2H mantra continually. That’s a win in itself
