NBC always sucks at capturing crowd noise, but is it particularly lacking for anyone else tonight? It’s night and day watching broadcasts on other networks

    2025 WATCH PARTY: WEEK SEVEN

I get the sense Clark Lea really loves being at his Alma mater and believes in what he’s building and already built. Dollars talk but in the SEC, Vandy isn’t hurting for cash.

I can’t stand this framing - yeah, of course they’d “pursue” one of the most charismatic young coaches in the sport. There’s zero risk in saying “Penn State is pursuing (xyz person)” because a call to an agent qualifies as a pursuit. Doesn’t mean there’s anything actually going on.

    Coaching Carousel

It's a different world than a few years ago when the SEC would throw bags at players and hoard talent in a way no one else could compete with. Fair enough on the winning streak prior to this year, and I certainly used a bit of hyperbole in my previous comment - but don't forget, those 6 straight games were against: 9-4 Michigan 6-7 Auburn 10-4 Minnesota (10 wins isn't nothing, but it's still Minnesota) 10-4 Iowa (who finished the year...

And prior to that, they beat absolutely no one with a pulse. And giving a lot of credit for winning a Penn State white-out game is a big mistake - Penn State loses more of those than they win

    James Franklin Appreciation Thread

Really disgusting that you can be so mid as a coach and get $50mill to be fired for it. Just really hammers home - thank you LSU for taking care of our own version of James Franklin for us

also would have helped to not have your starting safety out for half against A&M cause of a terrible targeting call week 1
