I am not sure the grounding was a mistake in those scenarios. First, there is a chance it doesnt get called grounding. Secondly, the penalty allowed the receivers to make it back, catch their breath, and get a play called. I am not sure all that would have taken less than the 10 second runoff.

Yeah, zone isnt going to work against a QB like Beck. Bringing the heat and playing tight man is the simple recipe for beating him and forcing turnovers. The reason everyone doesn't do that is you need elite corners to do that. We have the personnel to do so.
