It could also benefit Brandon and other players from a tax standpoint if their eduction expenses flowed through an NIL agreement since much of that could be deducted from taxable income.

That would be my assumption as well and I wonder if the total NIL compensation packages ant ND include education related expenses as well (tuition, room/board, etc.). Based on what I’m told by an NIL attorney I have as a friend (works with a couple SEC schools), that is likely the case.
