This is not a horrible first season for Freeman. He was always going to learn on the job as was Rees. This team and Freeman have come along way and will continue to blossom with good recruiting. I like our chances better than this time last year.

Post game observation: Clemson and ND don't have much offense. Clemson made more mistakes (and a freshman corner did a little flex thing). If we had tried to go with the balanced run/pass plan we could (have been) in the same boat as Clemson.

I listen to the podcast. The Colonel sounds like a Russian shill. He even said his favorite color is red. Statements like Putin will unleash hell… sound very much like talking points.

Tommy does not feel the same about recruiting as MF does. This will be a problem moving forward

All Putin has left is bluster. The Russian military is fraught with corruption and ineptitude. The truth has been shaded from Putin. Hard to keep up the ruse. I expect Biden would like this to be over by the mid term elections

I think the better way to think is this team has no identity. Discipline often is best directed towards a goal. MF is giving them a generic identity and the team is not buying it. Now Pyne may give them and identity, or losing a few games. It will be interesting what team plays next Saturday
