I think the only curse they have had the last 40 years is getting mediocre to poor quarterback play when it’s the most important position in all of team sports. I have seen franchises with a long history of poor performance quickly change fortunes when they get a superstar behind center.

Agree completely. No longer is every big game viewed as a referendum on the program. I fully expect us to have a great season and be there for the playoffs. I would not have felt that way with past regimes.

Yeah, the best part of the 12 team playoff is we don't have to flip out over a 3 point road loss to a top 10 team. Disappointing loss, for sure, but this team still has a great shot to be there in the end. Makes the A&M game a must win though. Go Irish.

That’s what our Dispatch uses, last update completely screwed everything up and it’s not importing anything into our reporting software (FirstDue). Been a huge PITA. Anyway, back to the Irish.

I’m way less worried about the game. Maybe it’s the playoff system and how last season played out but I’m not going to flip out in week 1.
