It's all just another version of politics. Conferences/TV networks are the corporations, committee members are the politicians and the fans are the voters. The powers in charge don't give a shit about us, only money and themselves.

Not to try and compare or bring up past issues but this reminded me of the Corwin Brown situation. What was the catalyst that drove that issue? I remember it was something similar (threatened to hurt himself or others). Any update on where his life is now? My memory is getting worse. Always like CB.

I think the SEC and Big 10 will push for the top 12 or 16 teams to get in regardless of conference champions. It will be in their (and ours) best interest.
