A Real American Hero Has Passed Away

I sit here this morning sad at the loss of my father in law. He passed this morning in his sleep. We had two of the little grandchildren spend the night, so my wife left for the nursing home and I stayed behind so they could sleep. I'm sitting here with my mind wondering and decided to post this...

    Anything Goes on E-Bay!

Never thought you could buy brains on E-Bay! Craigslist maybe, but E-Bay? lol From the Indianapolis Star. The details sound like the plot of a bad horror movie: Desperate for cash, a young man breaks into a warehouse to steal the brains of dead mental patients, and the body parts are later...

    A Few Prayers Please

Guys my daughter is a breast cancer survivor. Went thru radiation, chemo and the Mastectomy. She's developed some complications from the treatments and is about to go into surgery to have a Hysterectomy. Prognosis is that it's not cancerous, but it doesn't hurt to have some prayers on your side. Thx

    Olympics Drop Wrestling

The oldest sport known to man and the oldest Olympic sport gets dropped. This is mind blowing to me. All four of my sons wrestled with the last two starting at ages 6 & 8 and turned out good enough to get offers to wrestle in college. This sport teaches lessons pretty much every other sport...

At What Point Did You Think

We could and would go undefeated? For me, the "could" part was when we beat Stanford. That game told me we had the defense to do it. The "would" was after beating Pitt. Of course the Pitt game had me ready to throw up, but after that game was over I was a firm believer in the "IT" factor. Any...

    How Times Have Changed

Over the holiday weekend I pop in the 77' Cotton Bowl and the dismantling of #1 Texas. At one point Lyndsey Nelson mentions how much bigger the Irish O-line is than the Texas D-line.
