This is my thinking as well. Freeman won't let ND completely strike out in the Portal. He wants to win, like every other coach. He knows what the team needs.... him and Martin and the staff really need to push here.

I asked Driskell & Tyler James about this yesterday. Both gave the same response. It does accelerate NDs timeline slightly compared to other schools, but nothing is finalized for the Semester until January 19th, which is the last day to change classes and the like.

Doesn't effect the room this year, but for 2027... highly unlikely all Bowen, Sneed & Ausberry are back. KVA and Faraimo will likely lead the room, but the depth behind them will be a question mark.

In regards to the recruiting/personnel department... ND is hiring D. J. Bryant away from Penn State. His title there was Recruiting Coordinator for Personnel and Recruitment

From Miami On3 Brewu says he wants to visit Jan 15-16. NDs semester starts on Monday. If they really want him, Partridge needs to lock him down before the weekend.
