OSU had a relatively disappointing 26 class, including only 1 five star. Wonder if they felt the need to $ecure this one at all costs.

This was a pure bag recruitment and he was committed to Miami silently until 30 mins before announcing per Loy.

In terms of pure money recruitments, I’d like to think most of ND’s class just chose ND for ND PLUS their very competitive compensation. I’d much rather see ND overpay in the portal than for high schoolers

I agree 100% with this. We shouldn't be afraid to pay for high end recruits. But it cannot be 100% money related. Difficult balance
