Mike Brown seriously needs to improve his recruiting.

It just makes no sense. Annual contenders in the Big East. Great home games and rivalries. Harangody, Abromaitis, Hansbrough, Connaughton, Grant, Auguste, Jackson, Colson, Farrell. Consecutive elite 8s, ACC champions. How did this happen, and why is ND choosing to continue to let it happen?

Why would we want to do this next year when it is obvious we'll lose by 30?

I hate the ACC and the ACC agreement, but all these other conferences and entities have been far worse actors with respect to ND, particularly ESPN and the playoff committee. I don't understand why ND is so singularly focused on the ACC.

This would be good. If it is just USC + 5 random B10 teams, I don't see how it is better than the ACC agreement. Just like how the ACC agreement would be fine if every year was: BC Pitt Miami Stanford Clemson/Florida State Rotating game The most important part is locking in the matchups...

He is also a terrible recruiter.

It is just annoying because all of this was completely forseeable. ESPN has controlled the sport for a long time. And ND yet has some inexplicable loyalty to NBC which is irrelevant and produces a subpar product. If ND went with ESPN years ago ND would be the face of the sport.

Especially when the choice is getting a degree from an elite university versus a state school.

Harris is awful.

I do not understand why we are not pursuing Reed Harris from BC.

This is just truly bizarre. Why not just try to be the highest bidder?

Why is this continuing to be said? The team is on the cusp of a national championship. Pay everyone who can help the team. Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon, Miami aren't concerned about budgets -- they want to win.
