Many of you know I have been selling my illustrations on t-shirts as "19 Clothing Company". In fact, there are a couple threads in this section already (Mods, please delete them to get rid of clutter and avoid confusion). Anyway, I am happy to announce I found a better way to produce these shirts and for MUCH less. Essentially, you get twice as good a garment (a premium, soft tee with vintage destroyed texture) that most places would charge a lot more for. Then, it gets one of my designs applied to it and the whole thing costs you just $19. That's it. Tax is included, shipping is FREE! No irony here Sir...it's all intentional. Actually, yes, there will be. The first one is a constant 15% off your order by visiting the 19 Facebook page and "liking" it. So, there ya go! I will have more info on other sales when they become available. Nice thing is, I have total control over everything now (unlike with my former producer, Zazzle.) Plus, the shirt quality and garment quality is absolutely top notch. In fact, the garments I'm printing on now would have been a base cost of $25 per piece before any printing was done through Zazzle!

Chinese kid labor?

Haha...absolutely! Actually, I started out by going through online print-on-demand retailers like Zazzle and CafePress, etc. Nice in that you don't have to have any money upfront, but they take the lion's share of any profit, grossly overcharge you for shirts, and then control a lot about how it has to be printed and produced.

I recently got in touch with an old friend of mine that owns a screen printing shop and we hammered out a good deal for both of us. Now, the best part is, I am producing on top quality soft t-shirts that feature vintage, premium label type distressing and details for a fraction of the cost. End result is, the shirt is much, much nicer and more premium in quality. The printing is much nicer, with tighter quality control, and there is no limits to how or what I want to print. So, everybody wins....well, maybe not these Chinese kids printing them up under armed guard...but hey, you can only do so much.

By the way, for those of you wondering, these are by FAR the softest, best looking tees I have ever seen printed on. Seriously high quality...very impressed. Plus, with the new look on some of them they just really stand out. I appreciate any traffic y'all send my way!
