So the "disease."

It's in all of them now, from the fat girl in the well?

Or are the ones like Shane partially going insane already due to it?

Herschel has to be the next to go trying to save his farm. And his semi catatonic daughter.

Glen and his girl make it away, along with all the originals besides the shaved head girl. I see her perishing.

And when is TDog gonna step up?

I havn't read the comics, but apparently it's been explained in them that everyone on Earth carries the virus, and no matter how they die they will be walkers. So I don't believe it was from the girl in the well...they've had the virus since the outbreak.
I personally think we will see Herschel die in a blaze of glory while he is defending his farm(most likely to allow others to survive), and you will probably also see most of his family, along with a couple regulars die in the finale(my guess is sophia's mom and either t-dog or glenn.)

I think these people survive

Rick
Lori
Carl
Glenn
Maggie (his gf)
T-Dog
Daryl
Andrea

I think there's a good chance Herschel also makes it out but I would bet some serious v-bucks that Carol dies. I'm not sure if they will keep Herschel's other daughter because she's hot enough to stay on the show in an expanded role but she seems expendable

I don't think Carol dies, I don't think any of our original survivors die. We have already lost Dale and Shane which were two main survivors. I just don't see them killing off anyone else from the core group.

As for Herschel's group I don't see most of them being as lucky.

Yeah- I could see Glenn's girlfriend being the only survivor from their clan. Besides her and Hershel, none of the others in that crew ever get any lines or face time, so I could see them offing them. I can also envision Hershel making some type of "one last stand" at the house and being offed as well.

As from the core group, buzz cut chick and T-dog have an excellent chance of getting offed. Buzz cut chick's only role in the story has been her husband beating her (then dying) and her daughter dying-- she doesn't bring anything else to the table. T-dog will go an entire episode or two without making it on screen as it is now, so I see no problem with giving him the axe. Besides, the writers/producers could've played up the whole race-relations thing with him and Darrel and/or his wife staying behind at the CDC and blowing herself up, but chose not to expand on it.

Of course all of them could survive also. Killing Dale and Shane (especially) knocked out 2 prime characters in the show. They can't keep killing peeps off or all we're left with is Rick's family, Andrea, and Glen-- and that'd be boring television. Or they could kill some folks off this week...........and then some sort of rendezvous with that crew of 30 lurking outside town??? Maybe Rick's family + Hershel's crew form their own faction and Andrea and T-dog join forces with the 30? Darrel, of course, would be a wild card in this scenario. If buzz cut makes it out alive (literally and figuratively) from this season, then she hooks up with Darrel?

A lot of dynamIcs going on with all of the characters. Daryl really does need to give in and accept the love that buzz cut woman is wanting to give him. He needs her like John lennon needed yoko Ono. No mother figure growing up and very angry. He needs an older woman to give him love and understanding and patience as well as a satisfying sexual exPerience.

She needs a man who will truly love her and value her. A man who will treat her as a woman and make love to her In a way that will allow her to explore and appreciate her femininity and beauty.

Dr. Phil? More like Billy Mays. I mean to find that much beauty in a show about dead people eating the living, and the only way to stop them is blowing their heads off . . . Gump, you're a genius!

haha I knew this already, one of my friends spoiled it for me after Rick and Shanes first fight and you saw the 2 cops laying down, and they say they didn't get bit so it must have been scratches, and then on their escape the 2 dead cops were gone. Plus how Shane cut himself with the knife that he had already killed 3 walkers with kinda hinted towards it to.

I started reading the comics last week and im on book 9 now and Carl just got shot by Ottis, It's the same basic story, but it's all out of order and Shane is killed off in like book 5 by Carl. If you get a chance to read them I would say do it! They are very well written and it has the same feel to it as the show.

About todays episode, it's about time Rick spoke up and became a bada*s!!! I don't see anything but trouble coming from that prison though. It's probably the same group that kid was with because he told Shane that they weren't to far away. Next fall is to far away!!! Hopefully the season ends before December 21'st :X

Poor Rick man. Giant beotch for a wife and a kid that likes to run wild. I'd have shot Lori if she wasn't knocked up. Man.

But seriously, what do you do? I would have blown myself up at the CDC, whats the point? (yes I know if they all did then there wouldn't be a show...)

PS: whats with the creep at the end that saves Andrea, nice having 2 Walkers on chains as your pets.. Heh.

I think it's so that the walkers cover up his smell so he isn't detected by other walkers, You remember in season 1 when they covered themselves in zombie guts? haha

In answer to your PS, (non-spoiler version) it is a character from the comics named Michonne.

SPOILER ALERT

The two zombies are former friends/lover who are used to
ward off walkers. Michonne is a serious badass in the comics, i assume the
show will depict her in the same way

Thanks HendrixExperience for putting the Spoiler Alert tag on.
Regarding the episode, I have never been as irritated with the female characters as I was tonight. Lori and Carol were horrible. Lori: "Shane says it's his baby. Take care of it". And then Rick's a monster for taking care of it, even though he didn't have a choice, as Darryl can corroborate. And apparently Carol doesn't think Rick is a "man of Honor". Terrible. Lost all sympathy I had for them. I love the new Rick, and I can't wait to see where the show goes next season.

If you were talking about my comment, and not putting up a spoiler alert (not saying you were) It was an educated guess, I didn't know for a fact thats the reason why, but if youve watched the show, it's easy to put that together. What I said about the comics, also does not give anything away. We all know Shane is dead and Carl was shot. Just want to clear that up.

I agree the girls in this episode just **** me off. Rick's the only reason why they are still alive. Lori is the one that talked to Shane and pretty much drove him to attempt to kill Rick so she should feel guilty, not mad at Rick. Carol just needs to shut her mouth. Even Maggie, not listening to Glenn when he told her to drive away when they were surrounded by walkers and she tried to go back.....How does Lori never know where Carl is?!?!?

that wasn't my intention at all. I'm not that passive aggressive Haha. by the way, I want to read the comics but don't want to go past the events of season two, so which books should I read to avoid spoilers?

I love the scene in which Rick opens the barn door to let in the zombies to set afire. It mirrors Shane's opening of the barn doors. Except the difference is Rick opened the doors to lead the zombies away from the group, and Shane opened the doors to invite danger toward the group. It totally represents how the two characters are opposites.

and Lori is stupid. Wow I can't believe she has the nerve to be mad at Rick when she's the one who set Shane off. Is it just me, or is she getting nastier and nastier looking as the show has gone on? Def not attractive anymore.

haha didnt think soo, but I thought I would just clear that up anyways.

havnt caught up to season 2 yet, Im on book 9 which is when Carl gets shot by Ottis, but there is also some scenarios that the TV series doesn't depict, different characters involved and not in the same chronologic order as the series. Same basic storyline though soo far.
besides the drawn out battle between Rick and Shane depicted in the show.

You can definitly tell the ifluence the comics have on the show though.
