Watch from the 1:30 mark on. Besides the pictures of recruits with wads of cash, how much more smoke can there be with this freaking school?

PS. I do realize there are "explanations" for this statement but come on... they aren't the probable ones and EVERYONE knows that. Just like how the photos above had "explanations" like "my aunt's sisters brother-in-law is a banker and gave me the cash to hold to take a photo... in a weight room..."

Its a reach. Without knowing Allen's background, for many college scholarship athletes there are more, as he said, resources and money, available than they have ever lived with. They get a stipend, loads of free clothes, etc., they're fed, housed, etc.

He says now that he is playing at Clemson he has "more money than he has ever had in his entire life" so going to the NFL for money isn't a concern.

Like Anchorman said, you can get things like Pell grants... but really that all tops out at like ~$5k a year I think... so it sure as hell isn't enough money to be comfortable and is barely enough to exist on.

maybe...just maybe, he's gotten outside schollies from the school as well. idk how this stuff works, but i got paid 2500 each year for my first 3 years of college from outside schollies and financial aid. yea i had a bigger need without an athletic scholarship, but you never know.

NCAA has extremely strict limits on that sort of thing. There's even a cap (and a pretty low one... I think it's like $2000-3000) on how much NCAA athletes can make at real jobs.
