Should TJ Jones move to the slot in 2012?

Don't blame him on not progressing. He had a QB that wasn't very good. If he wasn't open right away, he blew through his progressions.

Maybe, if he ran more into double coverage with the safety Tommy would have thrown him the ball. Remember, he went up and caught a horrible pass from Tommy and got killed.

Good hands, and decent speed. He is a good receiver. We just have Tommy Turnover throwing the ball.

Go back and watch Tommy's throws, are to the wrong shoulder behind, high, etc. Eifert, Floyd, and the crew made up for a lot on a crappy QB.

I wouldn't mind him getting a shot at slot. Like some of you have already mentioned- it's not like it's a completely different position. I also believe that most of his "lack of production" is because of the QB, mainly Rees's inability to get past his 2nd and sometimes even 1st read in his progressions. I like the idea of trying him out in the slot, but I also agree that his experience on the outside might benefit us next year since he'll be the only one with significant playing time out there. I don't see why he can't see time at both.
