MSU, AF, SU, and WF are sizeable favorites.

BC is the biggest underdog of the day from the Irish schedule.


USF, PU, and WF become bowl eligible with wins today.

Navy needs wins today and against Army to go bowling.

PIT is idle but needs one more win over WVU on 11/25 or SYR on 12/3.

SU, UM, and MSU are already bowl eligible.

USC has enough wins already but has NCAA Sanctions.


BC and UM aren't going to make it if they had another month of games.

UM/Nebraska is going to be a great game. Robinson touchdown run just put Michigan ahead again, 17-10 with 6 mins to go in the first half.

Purdue is not faring as well, they trail Iowa 14-7 in their bid to become bowl-eligible; they do have Indiana still to play to get their 6th win.

Speaking of IU, it looks like Michigan State will move to 9-2 as they are absolutely hammering the Hoosiers, 31-3, in the 2nd quarter. Sparty overrated? Probably. Regardless, the Irish may have a victory over a top-10 team when the new polls come out.

I hate that Michigan is probably going to go 10-2 and go to the BCS as a wild card. The only upside is that they will get stomped by whatever team they wind up playing. If the BCS shakes out the way it is now, the NC game would be LSU vs Bama, Rose MSU vs Oregon, Fiesta OU vs Stanford , Orange Virginia Tech vs Houston, Sugar Michigan vs Oklahoma St or Boise St.

USC is looking very impressive. Outside of their first few games, they looked like a top 5 team. Their mental errors (coaching errors?? Time management?) lost them the Stanford game in which they outplayed the trees.

Their great play makes me feel better about how well we fought back into the game. Also, makes me believe we can beat Stanford (so long as we don't shoot ourselves in the foot... repeatedly).
