I have a few considerations here:

1993 vs BC. I cried after the game. Just wept.

2005 Bush Push. Still can't watch that game without getting sick

2003 @ Syracuse. Watching the team roll over and give up on Ty was pathetic.

2008 vs Syracuse. Senior Day loss was depressing.

2007 vs Navy. The streak ends. Just the lowest point in an awful season.

2010 @ Navy. Getting pwnt by a service academy? Bad.

2011 @ Michigan. Just a maddening frustrating loss. I disavowed Gary Gray for weeks after this one.

Wow the last decade has been rough....

I would say the entire 2007 season. When ND plays their best and just gets beat by a better team, it is disappointing, but thats life, I can get over that.

I wait around for 9 long months for 3 months of Irish football, that go by in an instant, and for 2007 to roll around and we simply weren't competitive, it was difficult to watch.

That 2009 loss to Michigan was really, really tough. I thought that was the year Charlie was gonna pull it all together. Jimmy was such a good quarterback with lots of weapons on offense, but the defense was bad and let a mediocre Michigan team with that dork coach pull it out. That, in my opinion, was the beginning of the end for Charlie.

This. Right here.

the most depressed i've been in the stands was against Tulsa...that was tough, because of everything that surrounded that game, plus the way we played and the way we lost.

close second the way we got manhandled against LSU in the sugar bowl. that was disgusting.

i've been mad at the last second michigan, navy, and smaller big east schools losses.

pi$$ed at the bush push.

as far as the 07 season...i was at the rose bowl against ucla. ive never had more fun at a game, i dont think. than that one.

'93--BC and The Bush Push, every time we lose to SC it makes me think of the Bush Push, and I hate them even more...Loathe them in fact...I live in KC and am a KU guy too and my hate for Missouri and K-State can't touch my hate for USC.

2009 vs Navy. We didn't punt once the football and still lost the game. Painful.

BC 93 for sure. A lot of tears after that one. Not as bad as one guy I know. He ended up watching that game with a large group of BC alum's. He was the only ND guy in the room.

Being in the stands for 2007 vs. Navy....

I was there for that one as well.

My friend, who has always been a huge ND fan, had never made it to a game....It was his first one.

2005 MSU sucked.

So did 2006 agaisnt Michigan.

I was also there for both of those.

I had a really rough stretch of games from 2005-2008.

I was in the stands for(among many other games):
2005 MSU
2005 USC
2006 Michigan
2007 Navy
2008 Syracuse

2005 Bush Push.

A couple of the worst games for sure.

I would like to add

95 Fiesta bowl blowout loss to Colorado. Which started a string of 9 bowl losses

01 Fiesta bowl blowout loss to Oregon State. I was for weeks bragging about the shining might of ND crushing those buck toothed rodents from Corvallis. I had to pay for many lunches that New Year.

2007 sucked, but it really didn't affect me that much - I knew the team wasn't going to be very good, not that bad, but I figured we'd have to rebuild. Also, the win against UCLA was that much sweeter because of it, I still remember sprinting to Stonehenge. The Duke win on Senior day was also very sweet.

My lowest point is the culmination of the games vs. scUM the past three years. All three years, they were an inferior team, but all three years, the defense managed to collapse in epic and heartbreaking fashion to let a pseudo-quarterback win. It might not be as bad for you guys, but I get $hit for it all the time since I live in MI.

2005 USC game
BC 1993
1985 Penn State and 1985 Miami
1989 Miami- After all those victories in a row to lose to a low class program like them. I could not sleep that night. I can only imagine how Lou and the players felt.

Lowest point? 2007 season

Most disappointed? 2005 Bush Push. We had them 4th and 10 the ball just past an outstretched Ambrose Wooden. Sigh

I forget what the temp was at kick. I want to say it was announced at like 27 degrees or something. What made it worse though is that if you were on the press box side of the stadium as soon as the sun got low in the sky you lost the only real heat source.

Seriously man? You've only got 22 posts and you had to start a thread like this?

If we were in the midst of the 2007 season I could understand what you're trying to get across...but not now when we're turning this all around.

I wasn't aware I needed to hit a certain post count to start a thread "like this". What's the post count that would have been acceptable?

I'm just here to talk Irish football man. The good and the bad. I've started two other threads both being pretty positive. So just relax.

You don't like it, don't open the thread, the title of it pretty much gave it away.

Hmmmm...I thought your lowest point as an Irish fan was the time you were banned under the name IrishTimer for ripping this site, its members and its mods for having the audacity to merge your thread with a preexisiting thread? You remember right Timer...how you were trying to start a 'series' on this site and how we were infringing on your God-given right to start said 'series' on IrishEnvy (even though someone already beat you to the punch).

So if you hate this site so much (remember the crap you posted about us on another site with your boy JayRockkkkkkkkkk), and you hate me and you hate several of our members...then why are you back under an assumed name?

And next time, why not just apologize for being such a prick and ask to come back instead of pretending you're new to the site?

Probably ^ this. The program was at it's lowest and a laughing stock. Although the year ended on a high note beating Stanford at Stanford.

The most painful moment (note not lowest point) was 1993 to BC. I was 10 years old, watched the game with my mother who is a BC alum and cried my eyes out!
