This is mainly for you, IrishLax. You know more about these D1 teams on here than me so I was hoping I could get some insight from you on whose good here. Oddly, Michigan and ND don't play this season.

2/12 Detroit (at Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac,MI)
2/18 at Penn State
2/25 at Denver
2/26 Air Force (in Denver)
3/2 at Jacksonville
3/4 Mercer (in Jacksonville)
3/7 vs Loyola (at Oosterbaan Fieldhouse)
3/17 vs Bellarmine (at Michigan Stadium)
3/24 vs Mount St Marys (at Michigan Stadium)
3/31 at Harvard
4/7 vs Delaware (at Michigan Stadium)
4/14 vs Ohio State (at Michigan Stadium; before Football spring game)
4/21 at Rutgers
5/5 at North Carolina

Michigan isn't eligible for the ECAC Tournament or NCAA Tournament this season because they're in transition. at Denver and at North Carolina.....oy.

Rutgers is pretty good too. I don't know if he's still on the team but they had a freakishly large middie last year.

Congratulations on joining the DI Lacrosse world. I don't watch much lacrosse, but I'd be tempted to watch a future ND - UM Lacrosse match up.

Any idea on how detroit or ohio are? I'm gonna be at both those games.

No idea about detroit. I didn't even know they were division 1. Ohio State is pretty good. I believe we played them two years ago at the horseshoe. They may have beaten us, I don't remember, but they're definitely a solid team.

Congratulations on joining the DI Lacrosse world. I don't watch much lacrosse, but I'd be tempted to watch a future ND - UM Lacrosse match up.

I love that the university is finally embracing the sport and bringing it up to D1 in mens and womens (2014). Also they're building a new stadium that will be completed in 2015. Michigan has had lacrosse since 1940 but it never has been NCAA level.

It will be rough for a couple years since Michigan is in transition, but this team does have talent. At the club level Michigan was 72-2 from 2008-2011 winning 3 straight national titles. Attack Trevor Yealy led the MCLA (club level) in goals for two years.

Obviously you have to take those stats with a major grain of salt given it was club but I think by 2016 or 2017 this team should be a midlevel to contending team in the ECAC.

I also think Michigan didn't schedule ND this season because it would probably be ugly.
