Thoughts after my 1st South Bend Irish Game

Well boys and girls all i have to say is i had the time of my life at that game. Although our boys loss the Notre Dame experience atmosphere is the best i have ever been apart of. I will be back next year vs BYU until then aloooooooha south bend!!!!!

It's a very special place that many people take for granted...

It's spiritual and everything about the place seems magical: history was made there, in South Bend.

The Notre Dame Experience totally blew away my expectations
Highlifhts include:
1. The game
2. TD jesus
3. The golden dome
4. The Grotto
5. The tailgate atmosphere
6. The pregame concert ( u know USC fans are full of sh1t when they know the words and sing a long to the ND victory march)
7. The bookstore is HUGE
8. Eating a bratdog
9. Talking story with Mr Teo and coach Ane
10. Chating with numerous Irish Fans
11. And most of all enjoying all the above with my wife

Only crappy thing was well we loss and i loss my *** at the blue chip in michigan city lol

I felt the same way about it. Saw my first this year, too. I did not, due to time constraints, get to see TD Jesus and the library up close but saw the rest. The only negative: Chicago traffic. Ugh.
I would also add that the Eddy Street Commons area is nice and that the Stadium isn't ideal for me at 6'3" 210 lb.. Pretty, pretty, pretty cramped quarters.

All of this is on my list when I go up for the BC game later this year and I am glad you had a great time. It will be my first back to South Bend since I moved away from the area in 1990. I am so excited and I'm sure it will be a great family experience.
