If you could choose our uniforms?

A conversation started up in the USC game thread about the possibility of us wearing a new uniform for that game. It got me wondering....over the years, whats been your favorite? If you could choose our uniform, what would it be? Check out this link for a brief history on our uniforms:

I want to put the Leprechaun on the helmet.

My favorite is the old white with ND on the front.

I really like the uniforms with the ND on the sleeves and shamrock on the collar and pants.

Is it just me, or do the players from the past look a LOT bigger than our recent teams?

i still love the game jerseys that look worse than today's practice jersyes. nothin says badass
like a jersey thats cut off just below the shoulder pads

The madonna blue ones would be good for a one-time deal Adidas will more than likely do next season. It'd be cool to see once.

Is it just me, or do the players from the past look a LOT bigger than our recent teams?

I think a lot of that has to deal with equipment size, and I also think that the common 18 year old back in 1970 looks like today's 22 year old.

Note: I didn't do any actual math. I'm just saying guys back then looked like full grown men. I think you can see a lot of it in their faces.

I have no idea what it would end up looking like but I think it would be interesting to see ND try an all-blue uni (pants & jersey). Maybe my TV is off or my eyes are going on me but the jerseys are coming off almost black.

As for away games, an all-white would probably look pretty sick too. All white with a gold helmet.

I asked Ryan Grooms (ND equipment manager) a while back if ND would ever go to a single color uniform and he said "I doubt it but you never know." I read that as, "You'll see those the same time you see artificial turf inside the stadium."

I dont know why but i have always liked having the numbers on the sleeve instead of the ND logo. I dont hate the ND on the sleeve, I just for some reason feel the number on the sleeve is more classic. Simply a personal preference.

As to the current shade of blue. I agree that it is definetly a darker shade of navy blue. Its kind of annoying actually. I would like them to go back to the normal shade of navy they had before the tech fit jerseys.

I like the jerseys we have now. If I had to change one thing though it'd be that adidas logo on the collar. Not a big deal, but I think there should be a leprachuaun or shamrock there.

I'd also love to see a home version of the jerseys we wore @ Michigan.
