I don't think anyone meant to be sarcastic, you have some pretty unrealistic expectations going ($500)......thats not just some ordinary football game your trying to attend.

it would help to know where this girl is at in Ohio. As has already been noted, she could save a lot of money by not staying in a hotel in South Bend.
