Hey everyone,

I will be on my honeymoon when we play SC and will be traveling through New England and our stop at that time will be in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Does anyone know of a good sports bar my wife and I could catch the game? I know it's a bit of an odd request but just wanted to check if anyone was familiar with the area...

Thanks!

There are Notre Dame Clubs around the world. I've done Game Watches with ND Clubs in 8 or 10 states over the years.

Google Notre Dame Club of New Hampshire. You'll probably find a website or Facebook page with a contact person or Game Watch site listed. Contact them, they'll welcome you and give you the skinny.

I don't know about Portsmouth but there's an Irish Bar, Murphy's, in Manchester about an hour to the west.

Portsmouth Brewery (which has lots of local brews) and Ri Ra are a couple of bars within walking distance to one another and both should be broadcasting the game. If you want to travel an hour to the north, you'll have lots of options in Portland Me. (Brian Boru, Ri Ra are some Irish joints as well as Rivalries and many other sports bars). If you travel an hour south, you're in Beantown and options are endless. I watched the ND/U$C game outside of Fenway at Landsdowne Pub last year while my daughter was at the House of Blues attending a show right next door. Guinness aplenty.
