Here's a golf analogy: Dayne Crist up 2 going into the back nine at Augusta on Sunday or Tommy Rees up 2 going into the back nine on Sunday? Biggest QB club in the bag is managing the game and the pressure on the field, IMHO. I don't think Crist is horrible in terms of that, but Rees is far better in the mental game.

After yesterday, and how Rees handled being down, being yelled at, having people drop etc., it is clear to me that he should be the guy under center.

I also think people underestimate Rees ability. I saw some pretty passes yesterday from him. I saw some tight window ones too.

Agreed.

Who cares how great you are physically if you don't have it mentally.

Diggin the golf analogies. Reps. And I agree with what you're saying.
Thought you'd like that!
The problem with Crist is that it's too late for him as a senior. So, if I was out at the Country Club's Labor Day Tournament today, I'd take Rees as my partner. He's going to get pars all day with a birdie and bogey here and there. Crist, on the other hand, is a birdie every hole waiting to happen but is also one bad shot away from shooting 105 for the day.

Crist is no accurate. I consider that a physical skill and Rees is better. I don't care what people think Crist can potentially offer - he's like 23 almost. he's had his chance and he's awful. he has proven that time and time again. what has Rees proven? he's good enough to beat the team we play.

I am the biggest Rees fan but Crist is not awful, he is just average.

I just want the QB that gives us the best chance to win on the field. Thats obviously Rees. Thats no knock on Crist, he is has potential. But at this point with the weapons we have surrounding our QB that potential isn't creating success. Rees may not be as big, fast, or be able to launch it, but at the end of the day he gives us a better chance to win. Period.

get dayne a red hat and let's move on. he's a good team guy, but the it's time for the future. this team responds to Rees.
