Trying to make it up for the game this year. On UF's off week, have a place to stay and a plane ticket up but now working on tickets. Made a few strategic calls so hopefully I come out with some tickets in the end.

Also, just curious, but how do ND student tickets work? If I find a ND student who I could buy his or her ticket, could I use it if I can pass for a student or do you have to show ID to get in?

I bought tickets to this game, it is my FIRST-EVER Irish home game and my third-ever as a fan.

I will be in Section 20, Row 7 ... got 4 seats and paid $375 each. I also bought a parking pass for some enclosed garage area that is by the new bookstore but no clue where that is yet.

I believe it's an aisle seat, but not 100% sure. I have had aisle seats before and never had this on my tickets, but others have said they have.

A buddy and I, both Texas A&M graduates are going to start making a yearly trip to some of college footballs best stadiums. Our first trip will be to South Bend. We've decided on the USC game since A&M is at Iowa State that weekend. My question: Where do you guys recommend trying to find tickets? In my early search seems like they are hard to come by. Also the ones that we have been able to find are $250+. Is this the norm? Could ticket prices come down as the date get closer or will they just keep climbing? Thanks folks!

Stubhub and Ebay are usually the sites I buy from. Prices will drop big time if ND loses 2 games. But the opposite will happen if they are undefeated going in to USC. Like NDinLA told me weeks ago...It's a gamble. Good luck!

They won't come down in price unless both teams struggle pretty badly which I don't see happening. SC is always the toughest ticket to get for ND games.

Just joined IE. I got USC 2 tix from a guy I work with. His niece is a student and his brother-in-law is an alum. Section 22 Row 55 for face value. I am so pumped.

I SCORED 3 TIX!! Finally i get to see the Irish play USC! I have been to a lot of games, but never this match up.

I'm going to take a gamble and show up in South Bend. If I score tickets, so much the better. If not, I'm sure I will find a way to have some fun.

The problem is that since it's a night game there is probably no way any hotel rooms are open within 100 miles of South Bend and it's been a while since I moved away. I have much fewer options than I once did for places to crash.

I got a room at the motel 6 in south bend on friday. its not a nice place but it will work for a couple drunk guys to crash for a couple nights. give thm a call they had 6 rooms left when i got mine. other than that the next best thing i found was thirty minutes away in berring springs michigan. Its a **** hole i have stayed there before and forty dollars each way for cabs.
