To me, it is just rediculous that he served a longer prison term that Mike Vick.

While I agree to a certain extent, Burress' dumbass had the potential to kill a human. I'm all for treating animals well and all that hooplah, but the lives of all those dogs is not worth one human life. That was the extreme potential for Plax's actions. Luckily, he only shot his own dumbass.

I understand the "potential" notion, but I am simply talking about what actually happened, and the consequences for both of their actual crimes. Plaxico plead out to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. Vick plead guilty to bankrolling a dogfighting enterprise on his own property, and had a longer prison term that he was even going to get because he initially lied to the judge regarding his involvement in the actually killing of dogs (not to mention the fact that he tested postive for marijuana, violating the terms set for his release!). Maybe I am just being naive, but to me this just illustrates the flaws in our justice system.
