We have to remember that Dan Smith didn't play in the game. Smith has skills.

Daniel Smith still has a lot to work on.

But I really wouldn't put too much stock into the spring game. Back in '09, the defense dominated and the Tate/Floyd combo was held to two combined catches. The defense was abysmal during the season, and the Tate/Floyd combo combined for 137 grabs and 24 TDs.

Daniel Smith is still unproven. The only proven guys we have are MF and to some degree Theo Riddick.

Hopefully someone steps up cuz there's def something wrong if our best wideout is Toma. No offense to him, he's a good, tough player. But we have guys that are "faster" and "taller" than him that should also be producing.

i think our depth at the TE position will help the WR play...this will allow us to go into two TE sets and still be very capable to throw the ball and create huge matchup problems with other team's defensive personnel.

We're fine at receiver. Riddick, TJ, and Eifert are plenty good especially in the Kelly scheme. You don't have to be an All-American in that system. Welch is fine. Toma is fine. Goodman is fine. Ragone is fine. Daniels will likely be TJ+1 this year. Koyack will be fine. GAIII will be fine. ... and Floyd will be back anyway. Our receiver corps will be the envy of 95% of the teams in the country. We just need the QB to get them the ball.
