I like Mike Hoffman, but my all time favorite local newscaster is Mike Collins the PA announcer for ND. That guy is awesome. He doesn't cast much anymore but his blogs are pretty amazing. He's like the South Bend Walter Kronkite.

I was not around for Mike Collins. In fact I didn't even know he was on the broadcast team I heard an interview with him during pregame a few years back. I'm sure he was fantastic, though.

ahh indiana, the only state where it can snow and be 80 in the same week. no, really it snowed 2 thursdays ago then was 80 the following sunday

Rapid City, South Dakota for sure can be 80 degrees, one day & snow the next day, now they have some crazy weather.

I'm from Northern Indiana so I know what you are talking about. I have experienced so many different weather events from all the states I have lived in. Indiana, Wisconsin, Arkansas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Montana, & Oregon, So i know something about extreme weather conditions..........

Its not that you can have extreme weather changes on indiana most places do sometimes. The thing about indiana is how often it happens. We are constantly getting screwed up weather like this.
