Very cool, or any other games you find appealing.
I am interested to see how baseball betting works.
Baseball works primarily on moneylines (I believe). But I think that there is a run line and a moneyline similar to hockey.
So Phillies -1.5 runs at home would be +300 (depending on the pitcher) vs. Houston +1.5 runs would be -220.
If Halladay was pitching at home vs. a #3 starter then the Phillies could be like -400 straight up (no run line) and I could have sworn I saw Halladay at -1000 at some point last year.
There are reverse run lines where you can take Houston -1.5 on the road and the'd be like +450.
Over Under runs are generally around 8.5. So If two beat pitchers were facing two solid offenses then youd see over 8.5 -200.
Or if 2 aces were pitching the over/under might be 7.5 but the under might be -200 (because it is more likely that less than 7.5 runs will be scored).
I dont have a feel for baseball odds so I was guessing and what the - or + would be.
I have heard people say you can make money off of baseball and others stay away from baseball.
