100 offers... how does that work?

I've always wondered how this works. If we only want 1 TE in a class but offer 5 and then get 1 do we take the other 4 offers off the table? I take it that coaches can revoke offers. We have set out a wide net and if we do as well as I think we can do this season couldn't we have the problem of having too many players wanting to commit? Does anyone know how the coaches work this?

It's all dependent on the individual athlete's situation. But yeah, offers can (and do) get taken off the table... hence why recruits fell the pressure to commit early sometimes to reserve their spot if they feel it is going to fill up quickly.
