Irish Hockey Tops CCHA with 1 Week to Go

Jeff Jackson's skaters swept Ferris State in Big Rapids this weekend, have won four in a row and have a seven game unbeaten streak. They remain atop the CCHA by one point over Michigan. The regular season ends next weekend with a home and home series with Western Michigan. The worst the Irish can do is finish second in the CCHA regular season standings. The boys are currently ranked 8th in one poll and 9th in the other nationally.
