Poker Stars has created Home Games as a way for private groups to come together and play some cards with each other. I know some people on IE enjoy themselves some poker so I created a Home Games group called Irish Envy.
The club ID is 3812.
We will start with 1 tournament per week, probably on a Tuesday or Wednesday night around 8 PM. If people are interested in playing more, then maybe add from there. I am going to wait and see who is interested and start it up next week. If no interest is sparked, no big deal, Ill just delete the club. Because it is play money, It shouldnt take anymore than 45 mins to an hour of your time from start to finish and thats only if you win. It may take you 30 seconds haha.
It will cost vbucks to play. Probably start with 500 or 1000 vbucks to enter. I am not sure how to set up the actual payment to play. I was thnking Tournament participants Donate vBucks to me using the vbPlaza above, and then whoever wins, I pay them out personally. If anyone has an alternate suggestion, let me know.
Its pretty cool, because it tracks standings either monthly, quarterly or yearly so we could also crown a Player of the Year. Bragging rights.
Also, it will require a downloading of Poker Stars software and setting up a user name and password. I would prefer if you used your IE screen name and not "Kick Michigan's Aces" or "Pocket thREES"--- Although that is a great name hahaha.
