If all goes well with recruiting and development, this is an SEC type of defense. With that front seven our DB's won't need to be absolute all-world. Can put pressure on qb's easily. Also assuming (hoping) Te'o will stay all 4 years. A number of 3star db recruits we have or possible 4 star "athletes" could convert to play the open DB role. Plus If Rees is starting or if Everett Golson is ready as a sophomore this could potentially be a *gulp* National Championship contending team. Here is a look at that 2012 schedule:

2012 Football Schedule
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
S01 vs. Navy (IRELAND)
S08 PURDUE
S15 @ Michigan State
S22 MICHIGAN
O06 vs. Miami (Chi)
O13 STANFORD
O20 BYU
O27 @ Oklahoma
N03 PITTSBURGH
N10 @ Boston College
N17 WAKE FOREST
N24 @ Southern Cal

Some tough match-ups, historically speaking. BC game that late in season is always scary.

Some tough match-ups to say the least, historically speaking. BC game that late in season is always scary.

That schedule is brutal. Also, I think that we need a 9-10 season in 2011 to convince Teo to stay for his senior year.

Shembo and Ishaq will play the same position. Counsell will be opposite one of them, and I look for kendall moore to take the other MLB spot.

Its not the first time I have seen it but that schedule for 2012 is going to be brutal. Away games at USC and at the Oklahoma :jawdrop:
