Tuesday, January 4th on ESPN. Arkansas vs OSU as a Razorback fan i like the Hogs, but it should be a very close game, two VERY talented QBs. Predictions??

I'm saying Razorbacks by 10+. I love seeing a former U of M QB succeed in another environment. He throws the occassional INT but he has a hell of an arm. I see him having a very successful NFL future.

I agree. I think the speed of Arkansas will be too much for Ohio State.

Just so you know, my brother in law (arkansas native and ND alum) spent the Holidays down in Little Rock and everyone there has it as a foregone conclusion that they will win. However, the same goes for the entire state of Ohio

Everyone said that Miami had to much speed for Ohio State as well. I like OSU in this game based on their defense. Pryor will have to have a day similar to the one he had last year in the Rose Bowl to win. But I think the defense of Ohio State steps up and forces the game on Mallett's shoulders. Mallett has a cannon and a perfect NFL body for a qb, but he trusts in his arm a little to much sometimes. One thing we know about Ohio State is that Jim Tressell will have the guys ready and they will be well coached. Ohio State has been owned by the SEC of late so i think they have something to prove.

I have heard rumors that even though Tressel made those guys pledge to be there next year to serve their time, he might still bench them. Just word of mouth, my sister lives near Cbus and knows some people. Would really surprise me if it is true. Again, just a rumor.

Yea, I'm not sure if OSU def can match up, I don't think they have seen a QB like Mallet this season. I think Ark will move the ball and put some ponts on the board. OSU will try and match point for point but they are not a very high powered offense and Prior will throw some int's as a result.

I'm not making an argument that any of these guys is better than Mallet. But let's not try to make it sound as if Ohio State played a Jacory Harris every week, and is going to play a Joe Montana in the bowl game.
