ND in 2011 preseason top 25?

USC shouldn't even be in the ranking at all if they are ineligible for any bowls in 2011.

I understand what you are saying, but this is just some guys preseason poll. He seems to think USC is the 43rd best team out there. It's their opinion.

In recent years I've begun holding off my assessments until after the UM & MSU games. Losing these games really seems to destroy our morale and we seem to take a long time to recover.

A preseason ranking really means very little to me.

Honestly I don't care if they are overrated or underrated on this list. I was just saying I don't think that they should be left off their list.

But, to answer your question I would saw underrated. No matter who is coaching they still have Matt Barkely and a ton of talent. I would put them somewhere in the 20-25 range.
