Not enough big kicks or enough kicks in general is probably why he didn't win. Darn

the kid from Nebraska is very impressive, someone mad because Nebraska is leaving the Big 12? is that the reason he didn't even receive a nomination

Posted from his twitter:

"No regrets. Being in the finals is a win in itself. Congrats to dan bailey - he's not only a great kicker but a great guy too!"

Just a really classy kid, I like Ruffer and how he has always handled himself, shy away from the stardom and stayed very humble, hope he comes back next year.

Maybe if he had made a game-winner...Like against Tulsa...

I'm not going to complain about this season or Ruffer. He'll just win it next year!

I can't argue with that logic... I'm proud of the kid though. Plus we got a hell of a kicker in the clip, so to speak.

Hopefully we'll see him and a whole bunch of other Irish players in this award show next year...Te'o for Bednarik and Butkus Awards, Gary Gray for the Thorpe Award, Eifert or Rudolph for Mackey...

Like he said, there are some things that are out of his hands but I would LOVE to have Ruffer back next year. He has come in and done everything asked of him!! It would be great to see him wearing the Blue and Gold again.
