So if the Yankees go out and get Cliff Lee we're pretting much going to be screwed if they line up their rotation so that Lee and Sabathia face the Sox each series. Five left handed hitters in the line-up and only one of them can hit left handed pitching. Plus, Crawford isn't going to be hitting many triples in the not so spacious Fenway. I don't like this signing--once his speed goes then he's a singles hitter with an average arm.

But what the hell, it's going to be great for the next three or four years! Now they need to lock up AGon or they traded away some serious talent for a one year rental.

It's not an overpayment, because of him Pena and Longoria(along with good pitchin) the Rays have been as good as they have been lately. Plus he steals bases like nobodys business.

My Rays are back to the bottom of the AL east again. It was fun while it lasted.
