Liking me some ND Basketball. Very satisfying, as a former resident of Wisconsin, to watch them beat Wisconsin. I say we bring on the BURN to screw with the street balling McDonalds All Americans I am sure litter the KY roster.
I think this is a better team than last year. More size, toughness and athleticism and thanks to the frosh, we have not suffered a huge drop at the point that I feared. Scott is blocking shots and providing a defensive presence we have not seen for an eternity. Plus I think Brey learned an important lesson last year when Harangody went out, defense and depth actually mean something.

I don't like them a bit either and my old man and I call them the usCrap of basketball, but I can't say I hate them more than all of those combined... what a haunting thought. Anyways, I'm looking forward to a competitive Irish victory tonight!

A few years ago, Brey said that he'd rather have a team full of seniors than a team of one year & done players. He'll have that opportunity tonight to back up his beliefs.
With any team made up of younger players, turnovers are normally a problem. I know that I'll be tuning in. Is this team that much better than the Big East teams that we play against in conference play?

Scouting report on Kensucky this year.
They can shoot the lights out. If they win it'll be because of the 3's. Very weak and thin on the inside. I believe they only rotated 3 guys at the 4 and 5 spot against UNC.
I'd say Kensucky would slot anywhere from 4-6 in the bug easy

haha yea wow, picked up the game a few minutes in, didn't even realize it was Freedom Hall. How weird is that!? Kentucky is making their run, ND needs to stay poised and play with that chip on their shoulder.
Brey continues to get questioned and continues to be THE best coach in the BEeast. You heard it here. Excellent academics, no pro and go, better than the ACC,( can't tell me the fear of God isn't apparent once the Garden gets hot during the tournament)
