Cal shot 2-23 from the field. ND's defense was unbelievable. The 5 points scored was 1 point off of the worst half in college basketball history. Unfortunately, Notre Dame shot 9-32 (including 0-13 from outside) and is only up by 15. Hopefully we win and make the finals of the Old Spice tourney.

They're trying to throw this game away now.

Cal was receiving votes before this game. Good work by the Irish. A win against Wisconsin will go a very long way to getting in off the bubble in March if it comes down to it.

How Cal is 'receiving votes' is beyond me, they are rotten-did you see some of those wild *** shots!? ND really played bad also, that should have been a 30 point win. Granted Cal is young, but they looked like they were playing on a playground, no discipline what-so ever. I'd say ND needs to shoot around 40-45% from the arch to have a chance against good teams. Nash is tough inside, but longer athletic players give him fits to score over.
Martin still looks really rusty? Wasn't he supposed to be a big time player!? What exactly did he hurt again?

I think ND will be alright and end up a bubble team when its all said and done, but they are still missing that '*** kicker' mentality and player that would push them over the top. Just like the football team ;)

I will admit that Cal played terribly today, but they did beat the #20 team in the country yesterday. They showed their youth today and were truly outclassed by an experienced Notre Dame team, but they are not a bad team.

I agree Martin looks rusty, but you have to remember that he hasn't played a game in two years. He tore ligaments in his knee last year and sat out the previous year because of the transfer. I think he'll start hitting his stride by the time the Big East season starts...which is good because the Big East is really, really good again this year.
