Im pulling for TCU

1. Because I was born in Texas.
2. If Utah wins this game, they have more to play for next week.

Not really if they lose they have to prove that they are still good and have to win out.

Right now they are playing for a BCS birth. If they lose today then that goes out the window. So I would say if they lose today, they dont have as much to play for. So yea really....

I saw that TCU has 237 yards passing. Is Utah's defense susceptible to the pass or have they just gotten lucky?

TCU is having heir way with Utah and their defense. Utah looks to be fearing the run. Secondary has holes everywhere.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but I'm taking into account that TCU is probably one of the best teams in college football this year, if not the best.

Yea Im following you but TCU has a great rythm to their offense. Something we are lacking even more so now with a freshman qb.

I knew TCU would beat Utah today but i didn't know they where going to kill them hahaha

the Pac 10 is probably really bummed out now, if Utah was able to beat TCU and then ND back to back would have really looked good on the new school joining the conference. To bad ND is going to beat Utah next week hehe :alcohol:

Even tho they lost Utah's jerseys were freaking sweet. UA does a way better job than Nike ProCombat

Well Utah just ended BSU's title hopes.

Makes Utah appear vulnerable, remember they only beat Pittsburgh 28-27.

the thing is BSU has four more games and two against quality opponents, Fresno St and Nevada, where as TCU only has two more games.

So BSU has more games to impress and when you look at each others schedule as a whole. BSU if they go undefeated would have played more quality teams, VT (who could win the ACC), Oregon ST, Fresno St., and Nevada.

TCU played the same Oregon St. team, and Utah. Maybe throw in Baylor.

the quality between the two the edge goes to BSU.

TCU will be ahead in the BCS by a fair amount tonight. BSU is going to have a hell of a time catching them, and I just don't see the voters changing their minds, so only the computer rankings could save BSU. Doesn't seem at all likely.

A loss like that will open the door for Notre Dame to step in and make something happen. I've been preaching it all week to my brother. (We will be there)... I had a dream last night Notre Dame wins 17-14. Go Irish!

Go check the BCS page on espn. TCU is barely ahead of Boise in the human polls and way ahead of Boise in the computer polls. The key to that? Utah is ranked as high as 7 by some computers while Vtech is not ranked by most. If, and again, this being college football all we have to work on are ifs, if Virginia Tech wins out and Utah loses one more...Boise could very well surpass TCU, especially with a win over Nevada.
