I knew he'd land on his feet. No one ever questioned him as an NFL O.C. Just as a head coach. I think K.C. was very smart bringing him in.

I honestly thought he'd get this thing turned around if he would have been given the time. He went to 2 BCS games with 70 schollie rosters. Unfortunately too much of the "fan" base turned on him during the 2007 season.

All he needed to do was get the right DC in here to run run the right defensive program. And switching from 3-4 to 4-3 and back to 3-4 hasn't done this defense any favors.

No.

The lack of player development, strength and conditioning, etc. would still have killed the program.

9-10 win seasons were the ceiling for Weis.

If he would get healthy, I believe he'll land a hc position in the NFL.

No hes damaged goods I liked Charlie long before he came to Notre Dame . He proved here some guys are head coaches some are not. I really am not insulting him He is one of best ever as a off. cord. . in the last 30 years I truly feel . Buddy Ryan was another coach who i felt was alot better just coaching one side of the ball too. Then you look at a guy like Bill Parcells some guys are just ment to be head coaches. I dont know why that is just seems thats the way of somethings . Trust me I frigging hate Bill parcells and still really like Weis but nothing I saw here showed me he has what it takes as a head coach.

Weis was an offensive genius, unfortunately he just didn't pan out for us as a head coach. Maybe things would be different for him in the NFL as a Head Coach I don't know. He had a hard time developing players in the college ranks, but maybe he would succeed in the NFL ranks if put into the right situation and organization.

Big congrats to Charlie and the Chiefs beating up on the Poodle's seahawks yesterday. While I don't think those two went out for a beer after the game, it had to be somewhat gratifying for Charlie
