Why though? Why were they this F'ing bad? Are they over looking to Utah? Something has to be wrong here. They were just ugly. Crist can't handle adversity, and can't read a defense. Kelly giving him to much? Crist seems like a great kid/leader but it seems his football IQ is not that high. He just isn't getting it. I just don't know whos fault it is? BK's or DC's?

Does everybody who is saying this ISNT one of the worst losses ever completely realize that this NAVY team doesn’t have a single highly rated player out of high school? Syracuse even as bad as they were had talent. There isn’t a single player from Navy's team who will play in the NFL. This is the worst loss I have EVER witnessed because i didn’t see a SINGLE thing that was positive, NOT ONE SINGLE THING!!!

haha with all due respect, Florida State and Michigan are not the naval academy. They beat us with toughness and disipline. We showed neither of the above. This loss went WAY DEEPER THE X'S AND O'S. There was something very missing from this team, one of those intangible things that all teams have when they lose and win. They lost before they arrived in NJ.

I am not kissing your a$$ to bring this to an end...but I am willing to say we are all emotional after a disgusting display...no need for anyone to continue with the escalating insults...it is not achieving anything.

after waiting a few hours after coming home from the game, this isn't the worst loss, I just think its the worst I've seen them play. Some of the play calling confused me. Crist looked indecisive and didn't seem to have much velocity on throws. Defense-don't need to say much there. Just a weird day.

When Navy would get a big first down or big stop, their sideline would go bonkers. ND didn't have a defensive stop but when they'd get a first down the sideline was lathargic. It seemed like they thought they were entitled to a first down or "hey its Navy, first downs aren't a big deal to us." They aren't good enough to act like stuff is gonna come easy to them.

i'd watch the far side of the field and Robert Blanton was getting so frustrated because Navy's recievers were blocking and chopping at him and pushing him 20 yards down field even when the play was no where near him. He seemed to be complaining to the ref about it. Navy fans were all laughing about it saying "oh he isn't used to that style, look at him complaining". Lot of work to be done.

I agree McGibblets. I don't think it could possibly be overconfidence. Some people think it is because we had some injuries or because our OL is too big and slow for the spread. But when you get down to it Navy just stepped up on the big game changing plays and ND didn't...over and over. They did nothing surprising and our guys had no answer for the 2nd season in a row.

We have to play these guys every year, it is time to figure out why we have been run over two years in a row.

My whole contention that this is the worst game I've ever witnessed hinges on three things:

1. We got handled on both sides of the ball.
2. We were beaten by a completely inferior team.
3. We lost to a "rival."

Those three things happen quite often... but I've never seen all three happen at once like this. Syracuse? Beaten by a completely inferior team, but it was competitive and their is no history there. USC? They were a lot better than us when they kicked our butts.

This loss was just straight embarrassing.
