I like Coach Kelly and his staff. He'll need time to turn around what shouldn't have been a tough situation in the first place.
Jack Swarbrick miscalculated when he fired Charlie last year, precipitating Jimmy and Golden's exit from the program a year early. You knew it was going to happen that way, Swarbrick should not have pulled that trigger. Now we have a `spread' coaching staff with players originally drafted for the `pro' style that Charlie favored. Coach Kelly will need 3-5 years to implement his program at N.D. Jack Swarbrick on the other hand should get a taste of what he meted out last year to Charlie Weiss. And he should get a taste of it immediately. He's an inept A.D> and he should go!
