Anyone watch Amazing Race?

[GO IRISH!!!]

Amazing Race has been one of my favorite TV shows for a long, long time.

This year, there is an ND grad on one of the teams. In the first episode this past Sunday, he wore an ND hat and ND shirt the whole time and he lists his biggest achievement as graduating from ND. He and his girlfriend won the first leg of the race.

I just get a kick out of seeing ND represented anywhere like that.

Unfortunately, I was not able to pick Team ND in the Amazing Race pool I am in since someone else (an SC guy, no less) picked them. I was forced to pick the Ivy League acapella singers. Not happy with my pick, but I will still root for the ND guy even if it means I lose my $20.

Anyone else watch the show?

I watch it. My cousin is on the show she is Katie on the Lime Green team . They finished in 5th if you dont recall and called the little blonde from the couple that kept sinking, Tinkerbell.

LOL.., I watched the show as well. My wife and I would love to do that some day. I noticed the ND guy right away of course, and we will be rooting for them. Fun show and funny at times too.

My wife and I have wanted to do the show for a long time as well. However, we know we would run in to problems if there was a beer drinking challenge (or any other alcohol related event) because we would end up drunk at a pub somewhere while the rest of the racers left us in the dirt.

Watched it before because my lady folk liked it. Made sure to watch it because I read this thread... Then...ventured over to travel channel and watched Man vs. food. Lost my appetite. Actually skipped dinner. Guy is going to kill himself. Geez.

They have done a number of drinking challenges over the years and each one has been pretty awesome. I would end up drunk and completely forget I was in a race. One year they were at Octoberfest in Germany and they had to deliver huge steins of beer. I would probably be like, "one for you, one for me..."
