1. Luck running with the ball is part of the Stanford offense. He is a very good runner and Stanford does have running opportunities for Luck.

Harbaugh runs a pro style offense, Crist, Luck, Clausen are/were all pro style QB's. Harbaugh doesnt ask Luck to run because its not part of his offense. BK needs a QB (crist) to run when its there because that is what BK's offense needs to fire on all cyclinders. from that point of view, it is a scheme-issue .......or a personel issue, depending how you look at it.

Kelly's offense is designed for a Tebow, Tommie Frazier, Eric Crouch, Demetrius Jones, Tony Rice type QB, rather than a Clausen, Crist, Luck, Montana (joe), Tom Brady type QB. I think Tommie Frazier in BK's system would have been even more lethal than those Nebraska offenses were back in the 90's, and they absolutely dominated.

2. Crist is more mobile than Pike, who ran BK's spread last year extremely well.

Hendrix = our man next year?

Not as long as Crist is still on the team.

Hendrix looks good on the move both running and throwing. He also has a quick release and a bullit delivery.
I'm assuming he's going to be our next man in next year and that Kelly is giving him a year to mature.

really Hendrix is going to be the man next year? wow!!! i can't believe i am even reading this stuff....he was playing HS football last year and don't think he certainly wouldn't have growing pains playing...you people kill me with this stuff....DC is doing a GREAT job, for a 1st year starter!!! remember that people...4 starts....tell me someone who has done a better job in their first 4 career starts that have played against the caliber of teams we have...and by that i mean 3 top 25 schools and DIV I...you WON'T find one
