Lighten the Mood for MSU Week

I was out of school but still living with mom and dad watching the game posting on this site with hordes of other depressed Irish fans...

when lambert scored I wnet nuts and my sister came into my room expecting to see that Notre Dame had just made it close... she was shocked to see that they were now winning... I don't remember being so subdued for an Irish game during that one... but I EXPLODED when lambert scored...

so did i.

....and i mean that in a kiss arse sorta way.

I remember just having moved into my new apartment, and being completely blitzed on Bush Light (aka the only beer I could afford on a new grads salary).
I was talking to my boy Foley on the phone, commiserating over what would surely be an ultra-dissapointing loss when.....BAM the Irish lit it up.
I actually walked/stumbled across the street for a celebratory 12 pack of ice cold tasty bush light.
Had to re-watch the game the next day, because I couldn't remember it.
Did I mention my wife and I's first date was to watch the ND Air Force game that same season?

ND is not broadcast in San Diego and it's killing me. I've waited ALL FREAKING DAY to watch the Irish. Why the hell are they on ABC anyway?! No one cares about Texas. Broadcast ND.

Haha, that sucks. You should definitely turn on ESPN 2 though. The game is great!
